প্রকৃত উৎসের সন্ধানে [PDF, 3 Mb] মেক্সিকোতে বিশাল প্রচার-সঙ্ঘে পরমারাধ্যতম ওঁ বিষ্ণুপাদ শ্রীশ্রীল ভক্তিসুন্দর গোবিন্দ দেবগোস্বামী মহারাজের হরিকথামৃত । "আমরা যে বাস্তবতা চাই, সেটা সুন্দর ভাবে আমাদের বাড়িতে বিরাজিত হয় । ওখানে সব কিছু চিন্ময়, সব কিছু সুন্দর, সদৃশ, মধুর এবং স্নেহশীল । যাঁরা এই জড়জগতে সন্তুষ্ট হন না, তাঁরা বৈরাগ্যের দ্বারা মুক্তি লাভ করতে চেষ্টা করে থাকেন । আমাদের অনেক কিছু আছে এই জগতে, কিন্তু আমাদের সুখ নেই । বোধহয় আমাদের সংসার নেই, আবার যদিও আমাদের সংসারই আছে, এই জীবনে বহু অসুবিধা থাকে । এই জগতে আমাদের সন্তোষ বা পরিপূর্ণতা খোঁজ পাওয়ার জন্য আশা করে লাভ নেই—এসব অসম্ভব । তাই, যে জায়গায় নিত্যতা সম্ভব, যেখানে ভালবাসা, স্নেহ, আনন্দ, সৌন্দর্য বিরাজ করে, ওইরকম জায়গাটার আমরা খোঁজ পাওয়ার জন্য চেষ্টা করব । যদি আমরা সেটা বুঝতে চেষ্টা করব, তাহলে আমরা গ্রন্থ-ভাগবত বা বৈষ্ণব-ভাগবতের কাছে যাব—তাঁদের অভিজ্ঞতা, সাধন ও জ্ঞান আমাদের কিছু ভালো পুষ্টি দেবে ।"

পরমানন্দময় ধামের ধন [PDF, 3 Mb] ১৯৯২ সালে অস্ট্রেলিয়ায় প্রচারকালে পরমারাধ্যতম ওঁ বিষ্ণুপাদ শ্রীল ভক্তিসুন্দর গোবিন্দ দেবগোস্বামী মহারাজের পদ্মমুখের হরিকথামৃত এবং ভগবান ওঁ বিষ্ণুপাদ শ্রীল ভক্তিসিদ্ধান্ত সরস্বতী ঠাকুর প্রভুপাদের শ্রীহরিকথা । "যাঁরা নিজেকে দেখেন নি, তাঁরা হাজার হাজার প্রশ্ন করেন—ওই রকম লোকের মনে বহু প্রশ্ন উদয় হয় । 'আমি কি করে টাকাপয়সা অর্জন করব ? আমি সংসার কি করে চালাব ? আমার সন্তানের কি করে মঙ্গল হবে ?' ইত্যাদি । অনেক প্রশ্ন আসতে পারে কিন্তু সমস্ত প্রশ্ন এই জড় জগতের প্রতি । কিন্তু 'আমি কি করে যত দ্রুত সম্ভব এই জড়-জগৎ থেকে আমার প্রকৃত বড়িতে আসতে পারি ?'—যাঁরা নিজের আত্ম-স্বরূপ বুঝতে পারেন, তাঁদের কাছে সেটা হচ্ছে একটিই মাত্র প্রশ্ন । বাড়ির গতি কী, সেটার বদ্ধজীবের কোন অনুভূতি থাকে না বলে তাঁদের এই প্রশ্ন করতে হবে, 'আমার বাড়িতে গতি কী ? এটা আমার বাড়ি নয়, এটা আমার সম্পত্তি নয় । আমি এখানে বিদেশী, কিন্তু আমার বাড়ি কোথায় ? আমি জানি না কোথায় সেটা জায়গা বা কোন রাস্তা দিয়ে ওই জায়গা পৌঁছে যাওয়া হয় ।'"

শ্রীল ভক্তিবিনোদ-আবির্ভাব-তিথিতে
"জগতে শ্রীল ভক্তিবিনোদের এই অতুলনীয় দানের কোন উপমা নাই—কোন বিনিময় নাই । আজ্­কের এই তিথিকে অবলম্বন করিয়াই তিনি প্রকটিত হইয়াছিলেন । অতএব এই তিথিও পরম পূজনীয়া, বরণীয়া এবং করুণাময়ী । আমার এমন কোন উপায়নই নাই যাহার দ্বারা আমি এই তিথিবরার পূজা করি ।"

তুমি কি চাও ?
শ্রীল ভক্তিসুন্দর গোবিন্দ দেবগোস্বামী মহারাজ: "বলতো ভাই, তুমি কি চাও ? তোমার চাহিদা কি ? তুমি এই প্রাণীবহুল কর্ম্মমুখর জগতে দিবারাত্র অক্লাস্ত পরিশ্রম করেই চলেছ ! কেন ? সত্য কথা বল !"

Golden Reflections Published in 1992 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, the book presents a series of reflections of Srila B.S. Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj on how the Math was founded and developed over the course of time, as well as affectionate guidance for the practitioners on how to proceed in their spiritual life. "This Nabadwip Dham, on the banks of the Ganges, has such great value, especially for the realisation of our highest self, as recommended by Sriman Mahaprabhu. It is the land of love, sweetness, charm and beauty all are synonymous. It is heart-capturing. Our real existence is neither in our knowledge nor our power, but in our heart. Really, our proper identification is with our heart. So, in which direction our heart is moving, that is the all-important factor in our life. It is a heart-transaction."

The Divine Servitor Printed in December 1990, this is the first printed publication compiled from lectures of Srila B.S. Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj and it is a jewel full of spiritual nourishment, encouragement and guidance, explaining the pitfalls, the ups and downs a divine servitor faces on the path of their practising life and divine service. "We have this human body in our hand, and it is very rarely achieved. Many, many births have passed, but suddenly we have attained this human body by our karma, good karma no doubt. If you want to cross a river or an ocean, you need a boat. This human body is like a boat and we have now attained it. With the help of this human body, our soul can easily cross over the ocean. But who is the guide of the boat?"

Dignity of the Divine Servitor A very gentle and affectionate guidance from the lotus mouth of Srila B.S. Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj on how to maintain enthusiasm in our devotional life, how to adjust ourselves to different circumstances in life, and how to keep the vision of our brightest prospect. "Our beloved Srila Guru Maharaj began the great Sankirtan fire sacrifice and up to date I am seeing that Sankirtan fire, day by day, spreading all over the world through his devotees. All the devotees are trying whole-heartedly to fuel that fire. Each one is like an auspicious stick of wood fully dedicating himself for the exaltation of Srila Guru Maharaj by entering into the Sankirtan fire sacrifice."

Divine Guidance Printed originally in 1993, this is the third book by Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj that was published from Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math. It contains the wealth of extensive guidance on how to see, how to reach, and how to serve the transcendental Holy Dham of the Lord, as well as how to guard against the obstacles on the way. "Everyone everywhere spends their life eating, sleeping, enjoying, fearing, and protecting themselves, and then dying—taking birth and dying. But that is not real life. Real life is doing something of eternal value. If someone can do something in connection with the eternal world, they will receive an eternal result. That connection comes through transcendental knowledge, consciousness and activity; therefor we have no other course but to follow the divine guidance of Sri Guru."

The Benedictine Tree of Divine Aspiration Printed in 1993 upon the completion of the first World Tour of His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj, this book contains several discourses His Divine Grace delivered in Santa Cruz (USA), Hawaii, and Mauritius and that present Krishna consciousness conception in a very clear and concise manner. "What we need are good friends and association. Then we can proceed happily. And the other factor is that if our surrender is perfect, then from the upper level faith will come to us and protect us. If someone is fully surrendered to Krsna in His form as Guru or sadhu, then Krsna will certainly protect him. He must protect him."

Affectionate Guidance Printed in March 2004, this book is an extensive compilation of lectures and discourses of His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj that were printed over the years in such publications as Sri Chaitanya Saraswati, Sri Gaudiya Darshan, Divine Message, and others. "We must be very serious in our practising life, then I can give you a guarantee that you must get your goal. You are in the line of Srila Guru Maharaj, you have the mercy of Srila Swami Maharaj and Srila Prabhupad Saraswati Thakur, then you must get it, but you must be very conscious about your practising life. I have seen many in our line who think they are proceeding very happily and practising very happily, but they are not seeing themselves through my eyes."

Religion of the Heart This book was prepared and published first in 2006 by Sripad Bhakti Premik Siddhanti Maharaj, and was received with great joy by His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj. This book is now available on the website for both online reading and downloading as a PDF. "We can't imagine how much happiness exists in Vrndavan. Everything is gracious, glorious, and extremely beautiful there. We are searchers of the spiritual world, of spiritual life and of God, and through these topics we have got a chance to explain something about the glories of Krishna. We have received a clue as to whose lotus feet we should worship and who we should take shelter of."

The Nectarean Glories of Sri Nityananda Prabhu The Divine Pastimes of Sri Nityananda Prabhu compiled from lectures of His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj accompanied by a compilation of scriptural verses, kirtans, and Sanskrit compositions in glorification of Lord Nityananda Prabhu. "We are very fortunate souls because we heard the divine Name of Nityananda Prabhu and we are following, as possible by us, Nityananda Prabhu's line. That is most clean and clear for the conditioned souls. We will get everything by the grace of Nityananda Prabhu and His associates. I must say to everyone: take shelter of the lotus feet of Nityananda Prabhu and you will have no fear from anywhere. We are all fallen souls and our only hope is the mercy of Nityananda Prabhu."

In Search of the Original Source Printed first in 1999, this is a small introductory booklet that has been distributed all over the world by sankirtan parties and that contains simple and sweet presentation of Krishna consciousness, inspiring for both newcomers and all sincere practitioners. "It is very rare to get this human body but it has fortunately come to us and it is of utmost importance. With this human form one can understand and find the way for studying the spiritual world, and for seeking the essence of transcendental knowledge. Thus the value of this human body is supreme."

Chayoa ("A Wish") | চাওয়া
A Bengali poem written by His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj in 1955: "I do not desire to be an autonomous king of this world. I do not desire to be an exalted young renunciant on the path of liberation... I only want to have love and attachment to the feet of Sachi Suta's servants."

The Wonderful Nature of the Vaisnava
"There is no doubt that our Guru is supreme in our life, but the Vaisnava is also not less than that. The Vaisnava can give us Krsna. A Separation Day

I am trying to express my heart today at the lotus feet of Vaishnavs. I pray they bestow their mercy, and that mercy cannot but be causeless. We are all unqualified, we cannot properly respect Vaishnavas, but by their mercy we can get that qualification, I have no doubt about it. Today is the disappearance day of Srila Krishna Das Kaviraj Goswami, Srila Raghunath Das Goswami and Srila Raghunath Bhatta Goswami. It is very hard for a disciple for tolerate the disappearance of their Guru..."

Mahaprabhu's Directives
"Mahaprabhu has given three directives to us. He did not compose so many slokas. He could compose it, it was within Mahaprabhu's capacity, but He did not do it. He has only given us some directives to show us the direction, and He has given only one sloka for our direction. These three directives will give us life—through these three directives we will get a real spiritual life."

"Do Not Despair"
"You have come to see me. I am your friend, your master, or your everything, I can feel that you feel it. There are so many devotees from different countries here. Different countries means different languages, different cultures, different lifestyles, different food—everything is different; but our conception is one, and that is Krishna consciousness. We have been practising for a long time, then we must have some Krishna-conscious mentality and we can proceed with that to our goal, which is the life of a servitor."

The Pain of Broken Hearts
"We always remember Srimati Radharani, Her associates and other Vraja gopis, but we forget about Nanda Maharaj and Mother Yasomati. It has come out of Radharani's mouth: 'We do not consider our heart's pain, but when we see Mother Yasoda's face and Mother Yasoda's situation without Your presence, our heart is breaking after breaking after breaking.'"

Sincerity and Chastity
"We will follow what our Guru Maharaj follows. We do not want to know who is good, who is bad, who is better, who is worse. It is not necessary to criticise others. We will only be chaste to our Guru Maharaj, and we will follow our Guru Maharaj's conception. This is the best."
