Sri Sri Giriraj-Govardhan Arati

jaya jaya girirajera aratika sobha
sri-vraja-mandala-majhe jaga mana lobha [1]
Glory, glory to the beautiful arati of Giriraj that takes place in Sri
Vraja Mandal and that the whole world longs to behold.
pramoda-madana-lila sri-radha-ramana
yatha nitya-lila kare laye sakhi-gana [2]
There, Sri Radha-Raman enjoys His eternal amorous pastimes in the company of
His girlfriends.
malati-madhavi-kunja kandare kandare
nigudha-nikunja-lila hari-manohare [3]
The confidential pastimes that happen in the solitary corners of
malati and madhavi groves and caves capture the Lord’s
mind.
syama-kunda radha-kunda kusuma-sarovara
manasa ganga dana-ghati yara abhyantara [4]
Within this Govardhan, there is Shyama Kunda, Radha Kunda, Kusum Sarovar,
Manasa-Ganga and Dana Ghati.
sri-govinda-kunda lila-sthali nahi sima
diva-nisi bhakta-vrnda kare parikrama [5]
There is no end to the pastimes that take place at Sri Govinda Kunda.
Devotees circumambulate this abode day and night.
‘sridhara-svami-sevasrama’ parama sobhana
yatha nitya-seva kare sarasvata-gana [6]
There stands magnificent Sri Sridhar Swami Seva Asram where followers of
Srila Prabhupad Saraswati Thakur’s line serve eternally.
abhinna sri-krsna jnane bhajibara tare
mahaprabhu samarpila raghunatha kare [7]
Mahaprabhu placed Govardhan in Raghunath’s hand so that he may worship Him,
knowing Him to be non-different from Lord Sri Krishna.
gosvami sri-raghunatha dasere smariya
nirantara seva kare antarmana haiya [8]
Remembering Sri Raghunath Das Goswami, devotees become withdrawn and
constantly engage themselves in service.
jaya giri-govardhana divya-rasalaya
rupa-sanatana-jiva-raghunathasraya [8]
Glory to Giri-Govardhan, an abode of transcendental ecstasy and the refuge of
Sri Rupa-Raghunath’s exclusive, chaste devotees.
surendra-munindra-siva-suka-mahajana
dekhena arati-sobha durlabha-darsana [10]
Lord Indra, Narad, Siva, Suka and other exalted souls see the beauty of this
arati, which is a very rare sight to behold.
sevya o sevaka-rupe nitya parakasa
sanande arati dekhe e adhama dasa [11]
You are eternally manifested as an object of service and as a servitor. This
worthless servant beholds Your arati with great joy.
