varaja-vipine, yamuna kule
mancha manohara sobhita phule [1]
In Vrindavan forests on the bank of the Yamuna, there are beautiful spots
adorned with flowers.
vanaspati lata, tusaye ankhi
tad upari kata dakaye pakhi [2]
There grow creepers and large fruit trees that are a pleasure to behold, with
many birds chirping in them.
malaya anila, vahaye dhire
alikula madhu-lobhete phire [3]
There is a gentle breeze coming from the Malaya Hills and swarms of
bumblebees flying around in search of honey.
vasantira raka, udupa tada
kaumudi bitare adara sada [4]
The full moon in the early hours of the morning shines in the sky at this
spring time, filling everything with its loving moonlight.
emata samaye rasika-bara
arambhila rasa murali-dhara [5]
At this time, the Flute Holder (the best relisher of divine mellows) begins
His rasa dance.
sata-koti-gopi majhete hari
radha-saha nache ananda kari [6]
Amidst millions of gopis, Supreme Lord Hari enjoys and dances together
with Radha.
madhava-mohini, gaiya gita
harila sakala, jagata-chitta [7]
When Madhav-Mohini Sri Radha sings, the whole world loses their hearts in Her
singing.
sthavara-jangama, mohila sati
haraola chandravalira mati [8]
All moving and non-moving entities, all chaste ladies become enchanted, and
even Chandravali’s competitive mood stands no chance.
mathiya varaja kisora mana
antarita haya, radha-takhana [9]

bhakativinoda paramada gane
rasa bhangala aji radha vihane [10]
