| The holy disappearance day of our supremely worshippable Om Vishnupad Sri Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj, the founder and eternal guardian of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, falls on 11 August (Saturday) this year. We would like to extend a cordial invitation to all devotees and friends to join us in the special worship, lecture, reading of scriptures, kirtan, glorification, bhoga offering, prasad distribution, and other practices of pure devotion on this holy separation festival that shall be held under the guidance and in the shelter of the lotus feet of Om Vishnupad Jagad Guru Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj at our Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math throughout India and other worldwide centres under the holy guidance of Acharyas and senior Vaishnavs. |
Some preparations and items that are known to be favourite to His Divine Grace include: natural orange juice (with just a little sugar), cholar dahl (split chickpea dal), alu bhaja (deep-fried potato), muri, puri/luchi with alu bhaja, aloo dum, samosa, pineapple chutney, puspanna, figs (dumur), chaunsa mango.
