"Guru and Vaishnavs try to do everything so that we do not turn away from the service of the Lord. Chapter 3: Demolishing Pillars of Ego "The position of Krsna is that He is very near and dear to everyone of us, but why are we not feeling His presence within our heart? We have received the Harinama Mahamantra from a great Guru, but how much actual progress are we making? We are eager to make ourselves like pillars of ego, thus preventing ourselves from making much progress. It is necessary to remove the ego from between ourselves and Krsna. If we can make ourselves very humble, tolerant and in the mood of giving honour to others—not only by mouth, but actually by our nature—then the enemy tendency will not come from any other side."

Source of Our Sustenance
"To rescue us, the Lord gives us some engagement, but we live just to have some money, to have some food and clothes... We have got this human birth but only worry about these things! How will we be rescued from this situation?"

Chapter 4: The Eye-Opener (by Sri Adhoksaja Dasa Adhikari) "Lord Krsna Himself glorifies the position of an Acharyya, and says that He Himself comes as the Acharyya. We cannot see Lord Krsna, He is spiritual and we are material. But He comes in the form of a Spiritual Master. So, you see, we have the Lord Himself explaining about His own Self, His own wealth."

Chapter 5: Life's Destination "Everywhere we find chanted the Glories of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna. Still the question arises, 'What is Krsna consciousness, and why should we worship Krsna?' We must try to do something good for our self, for our soul. Good is possible through the processes of humility, tolerance, and giving honour to others. We should try to avoid the opposing environment, and in that way we can happily study what is the soul, what is God, and what is the super benefit of this life."

"The Lord's service can never be stopped. If somebody thinks, 'The temple cannot run without me!' that is their mistake, that is their ego. If somebody has such ego, it is their own problem and misconception—they will suffer for that..."

Chapter 6: Reaping the Eternal Fruit "In the world there may be billions of humans, of which maybe only a few hundred thousand are imprisoned. The rest are free to live and do their business in the world. Similarly, in the Transcendental World, all the residents live their lives happily without any obstacles; this plane is also known as Seva-bhumi, or the Land of Service. There, everyone gives joy to one another. As everyone serves the Supreme Lord, He also serves them—as a son serves his father and a father serves his son."

Chapter 7: Our Super Benefit "When the visible universe is considered to revolve around the sun, the scientific term applied is 'heliocentric'; and when the earth is considered the central point of reference, the term used is 'geocentric'; but we need to make our lives 'Godcentric.' We need to invite Him into our families. If whatever we do, we first offer to Him, then all our activities will become unselfish. More than that, they will also become transcendental. Nothing inauspicious will be able to enter there—everything will be auspicious."

Understand Your Duty
"You can see worms in cow dung—they are enjoying so much in it, they are so comfortable in it that if you take them out, they will again go into the cow dung. It is necessary to fear this. If we do not serve the Lord, what will be our position? What danger will we be in?!"

Sri Guru: Merciful Shelter
"We got this human body, but we did not do what a human should be doing. We were spending our life busy with eating, sleeping, mating, defending (dogs, goats, cats, sheep, etc. do all this and we did the same), but our Gurudev has brought us to this path..."

Sri Ekadasi Guidance
Guidelines on how to observe and honour this holy day: Ekadasi takes an indispensible part in the life of a sincere practitioner. At Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, Ekadasi and paran are observed with affection and without fail according to the dates given in the Calendar.
