Gift of Sankirtan
'Jiva souls sin, they are hen-pecked, they always hanker for money, their minds always swarm with various material desires. There is no end to their hopes and desires. All such people can take the Holy Name and chant it. "There is no consideration whether one is qualified or not – whoever falls in front of Me, I embrace them."'

Today in the calendar: Purnima. Sri Krishna's Madhurotsav. Appearance of Srila Narottam Das Thakur.

His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad Srila B.N. Acharya Maharaj: "We have no quality, no qualification to serve the Vaishnavs. If we do not got mercy from Vaishnavs, we cannot acquire, or get, service from the Vaishnavs. That is why we always make Vaishnavs' tirobhav (disappearance) festivals and remember such days. We are praying to that Vaishnav Thakur [Srila Narottam Das Thakur], 'Wherever you are staying, Prabhu, wherever you are living now, we want to serve your servant! We want to serve your servant's servant.' We pray we can get some mercy and can serve him, can protect his line and preach about him."

In honour of Srila Narottam Das Thakur:

In Praise of Srila Narottam Das Thakur [From Affectionate Guidance]
"Today is the Disappearance Day of Srila Narottam Thakur, so I would like to say a few words to glorify him. Before Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur most of the Vaisnava songs came from Srila Narottam Thakur. But although he wrote many beautiful songs of devotion, Narottam Das Thakur was not just a song writer, he was a great pandit and more than that, he was a devotee of Sri Chaitanyadev."

Whole-Hearted Service
"Narottam Das Thakur was born in Sripat Keturi (Bangladesh) and in his life he composed many Vaishnav songs. Actually, all our Guru-varga serve the Lord and serve their Guru whole-heartedly, with body, mind, and speech."

Narottam Das Thakur: Our Guru, Our Protector, Our Shelter
"Narottam Das Thakur is our Guru-varga. If you think how much he tried to preach, you will wonder, 'How is it possible?' You can understand how much he preached and how he protected our line if you think about his songs."

Srila Narottam Das Thakur: Bona Fide Benefactor
"Who will you call a Guru? A Guru is not someone whose profession is to make disciples, who only takes your money. The Guru gives a conception, gives some wealth, property, with which you can go to your real home..."

Srila Narottam Das Thakur's Separation
"How did he leave his body? It was unbelievable. It happened on the panchami (fifth) day of the Kartik month, that is today... One day, he was chanting and the devotees could see that he was saying, 'I want to go, I want to go.' He said this in front of everybody..."

Srila Narottam Das Thakur: His Mission in Bengal
"Three persons had promised to stay in Vrindavan, but they left their promise and came to Bengal. When Narottam Das Thakur came to Bengal he found so many great devotees who were not getting good association. He kept Mahaprabhu's conception properly. We pray we can get some mercy and can serve him, protect his line and preach about him."

Beware Imitation
"If you follow Narottam Das Thakur's advice, this is good, but if you think you want to do what Narottam Das Thakur did, if you want to become Narottam, then it is a very big problem. Do not imitate Nityananda Prabhu."

Seat Sankirtan In Your Hearts
'If we want to practise Krishna consciousness with our bodies, minds, and speech, then we must throw away all material desires from our hearts and give sankirtan place to sit there instead. Those who want to engage in practising Krishna consciousness will be given place here, but there is no place here for those who do not want to practise Krishna consciousness.'

SRI GAUDIYA CALENDAR FOR 2026–2027 [English]
The calendar of auspicious days, festivals and fasting celebrated and observed at Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math for the following year (Sri Gaurabda 540, or 2026–2027) is now available online. It can be viewed online and downloaded on mobile phones and tablets and as an illustrated brochure (see the links below or in the Calendar section).

His Divine Grace instructs: "We should always check the calendar, and when we see some dates mentioned there, even if we do not know anything about the Vaishnav or events mentioned there, we can at least give 'jay' to them—that also brings some good sukriti, some purification to us. Seeing the calendar and taking devotees' names early in the morning, from the beginning of the day, is very good for all devotees."

3 FEBRUARY 2021 [NRISINGHA PALLI | PART 2]

Morning Shows the Day
"Although this is written in common, material literature, our life should also be like that. When we wake up, we should stand before the Lord and think about the Lord. We must always think about the Lord, we must always do service, always take the Holy Name of the Lord. This is what I do."

SRI VAISHNAV VANDANA: Vaisnava Ke?
'Naughty mind! What kind of Vaishnav do you think you are? Only bogus yogis practise in seclusion on pretext of preaching. Mahaprabhu took much care to teach this to Sanatan Goswami – always remember what He taught him.'

• SEARCH FOR SRI KRISHNA REALITY THE BEAUTIFUL •

Beyond Christianity
'Christianity is incomplete Vaishnavism—not full-fledged, but the basis of devotional theism. We find the principle of “Die to live” there to a certain extent, at least physically. The Christians say that the ideal shown by Jesus is self-sacrifice. In our consideration, however, that is not full-fledged theism, but only the basis. The conception of service to God is there, and a strong impetus to attain that, so the foundation is good, but the structure over the foundation is unclear, vague, and imperfect.'

Sri Sri Prema-Dhama Deva Stotram (Part Three, chanted on Mondays)
'He ardently preached that service performed in various divine relationships (from dasya-, sakhya-, vatsalya- to madhura-rasa) and the (paramount) service beauty of Sri Radha’s servitors in the highest paramour madhura-rasa, as well as any transcendental hankering of the self-realised souls in Sri Vraja Dham, can indisputably be realised in Sri Vrajendra-nandan only – I am singing in praise of this beautiful Lord Sri Gauranga-sundar, a worshippable Deity of divine love.'

Survive and Thrive
'You can see what this world is like now. Still, we must try to survive. Call out to the Lord, give the Lord shelter in your hearts. There are many bad things in our hearts, but by the influence of sadhu-sanga and the Holy Name, all bad things can be removed. Give place to devotees and devotion in your hearts, and you will get supreme benefit.'

SRI NABADWIP DHAM PARIKRAMA

'Appeal on Sri Nabadwip Dham Parikrama'
'Men and women, young and old! Hurry up, come to the divine abode of wish-fulfilling jewels, the land of Sri Gauranga’s advent! Come and circumambulate it in the company of loving devotees during the most auspicious time of your life, the day of Sri Gauranga’s advent.'

Sri Gaura-Dham and Sri Bhaktivinod
'Thakur Bhaktivinod, an exclusive follower of Sri Gauranga and the holy embodiment of Nadia, prayed with great hankering for the mercy of Sri Gaura-dham, which was all-in-all in his life. What is that mercy of Sri Gaura-dham? What does it take to reside in Sri Gaura-dham? What sort of humility do the residents of Sri Gaura-dham possess? And by whose mercy does one attain residence in Sri Gaura-dham?'

Genuine Surrender
"Do not think about your own happiness. Whichever way the Lord keeps you, you must accept it and respect that. ‘In whichever way the Lord keeps me, I must practise Krishna consciousness whatever the situation may be.’ We are our own friends, and we are our own enemies."

—{ Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math's Treasury }—

• SRI GAUDIYA GITANJALI •

SRI VAISHNAV VANDANA: Viraha Giti
'Where are my Svarup and Rupa? Where is Sanatan? Where is Raghunath Das? Where are all these saviours of the fallen? Narottam used to play happily in the company of all those associates, but now he is weeping without their association.'

Levels of God Realization
'Self-surrender is the very basis of our highest fortune. We cannot but surrender ourselves to whatever beautiful and valuable thing we have come across. Our appreciation for any higher thing is shown by the degree of our surrender to that. So, we can measure the quality of the truth we are connected with only by the intensity of our surrender.'

Sri Sri Prema-Dhama Deva Stotram (Part Four, chanted on Tuesdays)
'Overcome with strong bouts of divine love surging through Him and becoming unconscious of the world around Him, He dances madly and chants kirtan; the tears streaming incessantly from His eyes flood His body, the colour of molten gold and tall as the mount Sumeru, His clothes, the colour of the newly risen sun, and the earth in all fourteen directions around Him; He glows as He chants, ‘Krishna! Krishna!’, shouts jumbled up words and relishes various postures and behaviours (roaring with laughter, etc.) under the influence of divine love – I am singing in praise of this beautiful Lord Sri Gauranga-sundar, a worshippable Deity of divine love.'

Service Life—Joyful Life
'Whenever I get time, I try to use it to serve the Lord. If we can spend our days like this, we will know no end of joy. We always want to live speaking about the Lord and doing what is related to the Lord. We do not want to talk about other things, we do not want to do any other works.'

Today in the calendar: Krishna Tritiya. Disappearance of Tridandi Swami Sripad Bhakti Premik Siddhanti Maharaj.

His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad Srila B.N. Acharya Maharaj: "Even if you do not know anything about the Vaishnav mentioned in the calendar, you must still give them 'jay' on this day. We must always remember disappearance and appearance days of all Vaishnavs. If we can remember such personalities, such great souls, it will bring a great benefit to our spiritual life."

"I saw Siddhanti Maharaj. When Gurudev went to a foreign country, Siddhanti Maharaj always sat by Gurudev's side. He always helped Gurudev, but he had no ego: he would come to Nabadwip and clean the toilets. I saw it. Every year Siddhanti Maharaj came at Gaura Purnima. Every year, before Gaura Purnima, he would take some toilet cleaner and clean all outside toilets around our temple in Nabadwip. One time he came late. Three-fours days were left before the beginning of the parikrama and people starting coming, I had to finish that service, so I hired some people and they cleaned the toilets. When Siddhanti Maharaj came, he was very angry and said to me, 'Who are you? Why did you take my service! I have been coming every year for twenty years and I have been doing this service, why did you do my service.' I replied, 'Maharaj, please, you can take the cleaner and clean again, no problem.'"

INTRODUCTION to Religion of the Heart [By Sripad B.P. Siddhanti Maharaj]
'This book is an inadequate attempt to show a small part of the vast treasure of transcendental knowledge His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj has been imparting to the world for the past eighteen years. Although I am very fallen and helpless and full of faults, they have been kind and given their valuable energy to me as well as to so many others. I can only pray that one day I may at least come close to trying to do some service for them.'

Sripad B.P. Siddhanti Maharaj's Vyasa Puja Offering (Year 2007)
'All glories to your Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Maharaj on this most auspicious day, your holy appearance day in this dark world! You are giving light to the conditioned souls suffering the three-fold miseries. You are giving us shelter from the terrible onslaught of Kali-yuga. All glories to your divine form, which is non-different from all the liberated souls in the past and ones that may be one day.'

SRI NABADWIP DHAM PARIKRAMA

About Dham Parikrama
'Many can ask, "Why is it necessary to travel to so many places? Especially since you can engage in the service of the Lord while living at home, why is it necessary to go anywhere else?"'

Sri Ganganagar
'When Sriman Nityananda Prabhu circumambulated Sri Nabadwip Dham together with Srila Jiva Goswami, He first showed him Sri Ganganagar, which is situated on the outskirts of Sri Antardwip. Following His holy lotus feet, remembering His divine words and praying incessantly for the holy foot dust of all residents of this holy abode, we also begin our Sri Nabadwip Dham parikrama by first entering Sri Antardwip.'

SRI NITYANANDA VANDANA: Nitai pada-kamala
'The whole world is soothed in the shade of Nitai’s lotus feet, which are as cooling as ten million moons. Brother, it is not possible to come to Radha-Krishna without this Nitai. If you do not know who Nitai is, your life has passed in vain – you are just an animal who lives an abominable life.'

The Krishna Conception
'Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur once instructed a disciple at the time of initiation into the Hare Krishna mantra that Krishna should be allowed to land in our hearts, just as an army is landed by the navy. An army is carried by a ship, and when they have landed, the fight begins, and they capture the country, just as Julius Caesar said, “Veni vidi vici, I came, I saw, I conquered.” So, we have to allow Krishna to land in our hearts. Then the fight will begin.'

Sri Sri Prema-Dhama Deva Stotram (Part Five, chanted on Wednesdays)
'He reveals (first, to Sri Sanatan and then to Prakasananda) sixty-two interpretations of the famous verse ‘Atmaramas cha… ittham-bhuta-guno harih’ (‘Even self-realised, self-satisfied souls are moved to worship the Lord’) from Srimad Bhagavatam; interpreting the various lexical meanings of the eleven words of this verse, juxtaposed in different ways, He reveals a treasure-mine of multitudinous meanings of this verse in consonance with the precepts of pure devotional conclusions – I am singing in praise of this beautiful Lord Sri Gauranga-sundar, a worshippable Deity of divine love.'

Humility and Dedication
"‘Whatever unhappiness comes when I serve you, it is my happiness.’ When you serve the Lord, you have to struggle, you have to exert yourself. Mercy is followed by service – if you have mercy, you will have service, and if you have no mercy, you will have no service. It is necessary to remember and practise this."

SRI NITYANANDA VANDANA: Akrodha paramananda

The Hare Krishna Mantra
'We must not accept the name as a foreign thing: He is our friend. We should be quite at home with Him. We are going to attain a very soothing and friendly connection by the realization of the holy name of Krishna, which is all-good, all-beautiful, and all-charming. By chanting the holy name we will attain our most desirable end of life and go back to God, back to home, and not to any foreign country.'

Sri Sri Prema-Dhama Deva Stotram (Part Six, chanted on Thursdays)
'Captivated by and afflicted with an intense feeling of separation, He runs swiftly to the simha-dvara gate of Lord Jagannathdev’s holy temple; the next moment He falls down on the spot, His holy figure transformed into that of a tortoise by the influence of deep separation; attracted by the uncommon divine fragrance emanating from His holy figure, the Telangi cows residing at the temple draw near, surrounding Him – I am singing in praise of this beautiful Lord Sri Gauranga-sundar, a worshippable Deity of divine love.'

Be Wise
'We always work so hard to please our bodies (our minds, intelligence and egos), but what we cannot realise is that when we close our eyes, we will have to leave everything behind. If we can spend every moment, every day, all our lives, only chanting the Holy Name of the Lord in the association of the Lord's devotees, we can get supreme benefit.'

Blessings and Guidance of Srila Prabhupad (spoken at the time of his departure)
'I have caused anxiety to many people because I was bound to tell the truth candidly; because I have told to practise Krishna consciousness without deceit, many people may even consider me their enemy. To become eager to sincerely serve Lord Krishna, leaving all other desires and deceit, I have caused various anxiety to many people. Some day or another they will understand what I am saying.'

Love for Gaudiya
"We pray that your practice, behaviour, language, taste, moral regulations and religious faith become aligned with the precepts of Gaudiya. Please gradually give up non-gaudiya elements within your Gaudiya identity and show the ideal of Gaudiya to the entire world. May you not mutilate the paramount ideal of the Gaudiya precepts by coveting to participate in that which is not Gaudiya."

Today in the calendar: Krishna Panchami. Grand Sri Sri Vyasa-puja festival in honour of the holy appearance day of Bhagavan Sri Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami Thakur. Annual festival at Sri Gupta-Govardhan Mandir (Sri Govinda Kunda, Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, Nabadwip). Disappearance of Srila Purusottam Thakur.

His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad Srila B.N. Acharya Maharaj: "Even if you do not know anything about the Vaishnav mentioned in the calendar, you must still give them 'jay' on this day. We must always remember disappearance and appearance days of all Vaishnavs. If we can remember such personalities, such great souls, it will bring a great benefit to our spiritual life. If you remember the glories of Vaishnavs, if you speak about the glories of Vaishnavs, they can rescue you from all kinds of material bondage. We have heard a hundred times that if we glorify Vaishnavs, it gives great benefit, but even though we have heard it a thousand times, how much are we able to glorify Vaishnavs from our heart? How much can we serve Vaishnavs with heart and soul? This is the question."

In honour of Bhagavan Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupad:

"Today is a special day, Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur's appearance day. If he had not come, where would we have found Srila Guru Maharaj, Srila Gurudev? If we do not get mercy from Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur, without Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur, we cannot think about Srila Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj."

"Srila Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj often said that Srila Prabhupad's word was very hard, like a stone or thunderbolt, but inside he could be soft as a lotus. Fathers are always very loving and affectionate to their sons, but Srila Prabhupad gave more love and affection that any father could give."

Jnana-Sunya Bhakti
"Even if you think, ‘If I serve the Lord, I will go to Goloka,’ that is also one kind of desire. It is not good to be like that. Gurudev told us to chant the Holy Name with faith, and that is sufficient – what we will get or not get, gurudev and the Lord will take care of that. Such a mood is part of jnana-sunya bhakti. This is the rule."

SRI NITYANANDA VANDANA: Nitai gunamani amara
'My dear Nitai, jewel of all good qualities! You brought a flood of divine love and inundated the whole world. Whether one is destitute, bereft, fallen or a sinner – He did not mind anyone because everyone is hankering for that divine love, which is rare even for Lord Brahma to attain.'

Service of the Holy Name
'There are so many sayings in the scriptures to encourage our realization of the holy name in different ways, but Srila Rupa Goswami has given us a central thought: atah sri krsna namadi na bhaved grahyam indriyaih. Our senses, physical or mental, are ineligible to come in touch with the transcendental. But when we have a serving attitude, He comes down to us of His own accord.'

Sri Sri Prema-Dhama Deva Stotram (Part Seven, chanted on Fridays)
'He is a holy embodiment of the beautiful reality which is beyond the reach of one’s eyes and ears, which paralyses the very necessity of intelligence and which leaves even firmly fixed consciousness dumbstruck when divine love surges up – even Brahma, Sambhu (Siva), as well as their revealed scriptures, Vedas and tantras cannot conceive of such reality, so they merely keep searching after Him – I am singing in praise of this beautiful Lord Sri Gauranga-sundar, a worshippable Deity of divine love.'

Highest Acceptance
'If the disciple cannot behold the Lord within their guru and if the guru cannot behold the Lord within his disciple, there can be no guru–disciple relation between them. When can you say that you have reached the highest stage of acceptance? When you feel irresistible attraction, or spiritual love, towards your guru.'

Today in the calendar: Krishna Sasthi. Appearance of Tridandi Swami Srimad Bhakti Saranga Goswami Maharaj (a great prominent disciple of Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupad, and a sannyas disciple of Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj.

About Srila Bhakti Saranga Goswami Maharaj:

He crushes the pride of the wicked and squashes the cruel oppression of the heretics and demons. He is like a thunderbolt on the mountain of hypocrisy. He is the sole friend of the intelligentsia and a shining sun above the lotus of the aristocracy."

About Srila Bhakti Saranga Goswami Maharaj
[From Sri Nabadwip Dham Mahatmya-mukta-mala]
'You should know who Srila Bhakti Saranga Goswami Maharaj is and about our connection and relationship with him. You must remember this connection because without the knowledge of the relationship (sambandha-jnana), you can develop neither the knowledge of abhidheya (the means to attain the goal) nor the knowledge of prayojana (the goal).'

Reviving Srila Prabhupad's Preaching

Sri Sri Prema-Dhama Deva Stotram (Part One, chanted on Saturdays)
'Demigods, perfected souls, liberated souls, yogis and Lord’s devotees always sing His praise; He relieves the world from the blazing forest fire of three-fold miseries (caused by the desire for enjoyment, liberation and perfections) brought about by inauspicious actions (performed in aversion to the Supreme Lord); an ocean of generosity, He bestows His own Name from the nectarean storehouse of Lord Sri Krishna’s Names – I am singing in praise of this beautiful Lord Sri Gauranga-sundar, a worshippable Deity of divine love.'

Today in the calendar: Krishna Saptami. Annual three-day festival in honour of the manifestation of Sri Sri Gaura Nityananda and Sri Sri Gandharva Govinda-sundar jiu at Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Seva-sadan in Sri Ganga Sagar.

His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad Srila B.N. Acharya Maharaj: "We should always check the calendar, and when we see some dates mentioned there, even if we do not know anything about the Vaishnav or events mentioned there, we can at least give 'jay' to them—that also brings some good sukriti, some purification to us. Seeing the calendar and taking devotees' names early in the morning, from the beginning of the day, is very good for all devotees. We must always remember disappearance and appearance days of all Vaishnavs. If we can remember such personalities, such great souls, it will bring great benefit to our spiritual lives."

In honour of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Seva-sadan in Sri Ganga Sagar:

Coming to Ganga Sagar
"Many people want to come to Ganga Sagar. There is a common thought that you should visit all the holy places many times but come to Ganga Sagar only once. Why only once? Because it is very hard to come here, so when people came here once, they did not want to come back..."

Gist of Pilgrimage
"What does it mean to chant the Holy Name? Service to Vaishnavs is at the root of everything. When Gurudev and Vaishnavs say something, you must follow it to a T. This is the meaning of visiting Ganga Sagar."

Fri, 13 February 2026 (Fast on Sri Vijaya Ekadasi)

Sri Guru's Mission
'Gurudev is an embodiment of the service of the Lord. If gurudev had not come, who would have come to tell people to serve the Lord? Without his mercy and association, jiva souls have no other way to escape from material bondage. If we can genuinely take shelter at his holy lotus feet, then all unwanted elements within us will be removed.'

SRI EKADASI GUIDANCE

Sri Ekadasi Guidance
Guidelines on how to observe and honour this holy day: Ekadasi takes an indispensible part in the life of a sincere practitioner. At Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, Ekadasi and paran are observed with affection and without fail according to the dates given in the Calendar.

Renunciation of Cowards and Misers
[By Srila B.R. Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj]
'What we need is yukta-vairagya: we shall take from the store of Krishna to keep ourselves fit and to do service. It is Krishna's account, and if we do not do that, we will be separatists, mayavadis, renunciationists. We must render maximum service to Krishna, so we must take without any hesitation whatever is necessary to make ourselves fit for the service; otherwise, we shall be punishable.'

"Sri Ekadasi" (Sri Sri Prema Vivarta)
"One day, Gaurahari left the Gundicha Temple and sat in the Jagannath Vallabha garden. It was pure Ekadasi, and the Lord spent the whole day and night chanting the Name of Krishna..."

SONG: Suddha-bhakata | শুদ্ধ ভকত-চরণ-রেণু
"I carefully observe the holy days related to Madhava, they are the mother of devotion."

SONG: Sri hari-vasare | শ্রীহরি-বাসরে হরি
"On the holy day of Sri Hari, Sriman Mahaprabhu, the life and soul of the universe, began dancing..."

'Managing' Your Life
"Who are you to run or manage anything? The manager is the Lord! The Lord is the only master, but we have forgotten Him – we only give our full time to our material lives, to our family lives. What is the use living for one hundred years?"

• SRI GAUDIYA GITANJALI •

SRI NITYANANDA VANDANA: Nadiya godrume nityananda mahajana
'In the land of Nadia, on the island of Godrum, the great soul Nityananda has set up for jiva souls a marketplace of the Holy Name. I am appealing to those who have faith: brother, on the order of Mahaprabhu, I beg this from you – chant ‘Krishna’, serve Krishna, learn about Krishna.'

Best Shelter
'Krishna's abode (Vrindavan Dham) is a shelter for those who have attained liberation from all material desires and who serve the Lord continuously; it is not for those who have even a trace of material desires. But Gaura Dham is for everyone – for all the lowly, sinful, poor, depraved, destitute and unfortunate souls.'

Sri Sridhar Angan
'Continuing our parikrama of Sri Nabadwip Dham, by the mercy of Sri Gurupadpadma, we have now come from Sri Chaitanya Math to Sri Sridhar Angan. Although this may seem to be a wild and very small place, some very beautiful pastimes took place here. This is the house where Sri Kholavecha Sridhar Prabhu stayed.'

Glory of Sri Simantadwip
'Continuing our parikrama path, we have crossed Sri Antardwip and have entered Sri Simantadwip. Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur describes the glory of this island in his holy book Sri Nabadwip Dham Mahatmya.'

Rescuing Chad Kazi
'As we continue our Sri Nabadwip Dham parikrama, by the mercy of Sri Gurupadpadma, we have now come to the samadhi-mandir of Chad Kazi. The town Kazinagar where this samadhi-mandir is situated is non-different from Mathura. He who was famous as Kamsa in Krishna's pastimes in Vraja became Chad Kazi in the pastimes of Gaura.'

Sri Jagannathdev’s Temple
'The last place we visit on the first day of our parikrama is this charming place that is known as Sankhavanik-nagar, or Sri Saradanga. This is the place where Sri Jagannathdev, Sri Baladev Prabhu and Sri Subhadra Mayi reside with sabaras.'

Internal Purity
"'O gurudev! Please give me some intelligence so that I can become humble, kind, so that I may respect others and leave all desire for prestige.' I am not coming to give advice to you; rather, if I keep speaking about this, then I believe that one day these qualities will come to me."

SRI NITYANANDA VANDANA: Nitai amara parama dayala

Depths of Esoteric Relationship
'"Gurudev is mine" – if this feeling has not appeared in your, then your practising life has not started yet. The feeling of close relation ("he is mine") is very strong – it is so powerful and potent! "I have him seated in my heart" – when such a feeling comes, then the guru’s job is successful.'

Since then, the original temple was taken by the Ganges and later rebuilt by the devotees of Sri Gaudiya Math.'

Sri Suvarna Bihar

Sri Sri Prema-Dhama Deva Stotram (Part Two, chanted on Sundays)
'Very tall, beautiful and infused with divine love, His holy form increases gods’ joy; the lustre of His body, which puts millions of golden lotuses to shame, is worshipped by the Moon; and His intrinsic form is a holy abode of divine pastimes manifest as eternal ever-increasing transcendental ecstatic transformations that spring up as He revels dancing in Sri Krishna-sankirtan – I am singing in praise of this beautiful Lord Sri Gauranga-sundar, a worshippable Deity of divine love.'

Spiritual Life Is Not Fashion
'Those who can accept chastisement attain benefit very fast. There is nobody in this world who wants your benefit more than your guru. Taking a mantra from a guru, calling him paramahamsa, giving him jay, flowers, garlands and bhoga – these are not symptoms of a disciple. A symptom of a disciple is love for the guru.'

Today in the calendar: Krishna Chaturdasi. Sri Sri Sivaratri (optional fast). Departure of Srimad Bhakti Nivas Bhagavat Maharaj and Sripad Yudhamanyu Prabhu Seva-Vikram.

His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad Srila B.N. Acharya Maharaj: "Yudhamanyu Prabhu Seva Vikram was dear to every member of our Mission. He has set a great example for everyone of what it means to be a servitor of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math. Srila Gurudev’s extreme fondness and mercy towards him were clearly evident to everyone, and many devotees from around the world cared for him as a close personal friend. He has been regularly visiting India for many years, and I have had the fortune of personally observing his sincere and humble service mood. Yudhamanyu Prabhu’s seva in China was incomparable. His complete dedication and success in fulfilling the desire of Srila Gurudev illustrates to us all the essence of spiritual life. I feel I have no words to describe my heart at the news of this passing of another of Srila Gurudev’s beloved and stalwart associates. It is a great loss for our Mission, and I pray that devotees will step forward in the void of his absence to continue the service of Srila Gurudev’s Mission and all that he took so much care to establish. I also hope that devotees will pray for Sri Yudhamanyu Prabhu’s family and personal friends at this difficult time. Krishna has taken Yudhamanyu Prabhu into His personal care now, and we cannot but accept Krishna’s divine will with our heads bowed."

In honour of Lord Siva:

devadidevam-ahibhusanam-indukasam

gangadharam pranatapalakamasutosam

"The chief of the Devas, whose body is decorated by snakes, whose body shines like the moon, who has five heads, who carries his weapon known as Pasupat, who gives boons, who is of satisfied nature, who holds the Ganga on his head, who maintains those who give obeisance to him, who is easily pleased—I offer my obeisances to Sada Siva, who is dear to Hari, and whose crown is the moon."

"Usually, people worship Lord Siva for their own interest, but this is not a real worship. Do not do this. Do not make Sivji your servant by coming to him to get something in return for the puja. People say, 'Siva, give me this,' 'Siva, give me that'—Siva becomes their servant. However, our duty is to worship Lord Siva. I will worship Lord Siva, and whether he takes this worship or not, what he will give me or not give me, this is his matter. I do not care whether I like something or not, if he is happy to keep me in a bad condition, let him keep me in this way; and if he is happy to keep me in a good condition, let him keep me in this way. My happiness or unhappiness does not matter. We must always remember this."

~Srila B.N. Acharya Maharaj

Sivji Maharaj—Param Vaishnav [20 Jan 2016 | Translated from Bengali]
"Some say, 'You are a Siva bhakta, I am a Krishna bhakta!' You must not say such things. Siva and Krishna are not different from each other, and at the same time Krishna and Siva are one. Siva is an expansion of Krishna."

"O Vaishnav Thakur!" [9 December 2018 | Tarakeshwar]
"We cannot have the darshan of Lord Siva with these eyes. Do we have the eyes? We have the eyes for maya—we always see the things of illusory world. Devotees pray to Lord Siva for forgiveness of their offences. If you ask him for forgiveness, he is very merciful, he can remove your offences..."

Love Service, Not Yourself
'Guru Maharaj always said that it is good to do service. Do not make excuses. Your hands will rot away in a few days anyway – if you cannot serve the Lord with your hands, the Lord will take your hands away. It is very hard to get service, but it is very easy to lose it.'

Today in the calendar:

Gaura Pratipad. Disappearance of Vaishnav Sarvabhauma Srila Jagannath Das Babaji Maharaj, Srila Rasikananda Dev-Goswami and Tridandi-swami Srimad Bhakti Dayita Madhav Maharaj.

His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad Srila B.N. Acharya Maharaj: "Even if you do not know anything about the Vaishnav mentioned in the calendar, you must still give them 'jay' on this day. We must always remember disappearance and appearance days of all Vaishnavs. If we can remember such personalities, such great souls, it will bring great benefit to our spiritual lives. If you remember the glories of Vaishnavs, if you speak about the glories of Vaishnavs, they can rescue you from all kinds of material bondage. We have heard a hundred times that if we glorify Vaishnavs, it gives great benefit, but even though we have heard it a thousand times, how much are we able to glorify them with all our hearts? How much can we serve Vaishnavs with heart and soul? This is the question."

Spiritual Deposit
"If you have no deposit in the bank, how will you cross the Viraja River? It is a great river – if you want to cross it, you must keep something aside for the fare. That fare is devotion – you must accumulate devotion day by day to cross that river."

Divine Arrangement
'You do so many things in this world, but when you die, you become free from all the obligations, but how can you attain the highest benefit in that state? Have you ever thought about that? The Lord has made a very nice arrangement for us here. This is what I have come to tell you all about.'

Today in the calendar: Gaura Dvitiya. Appearance of Om Vishnupad Srila Bhakti Kusum Ashram Maharaj (a prominent disciple of Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaj Prabhupad, a sannyas disciple of Srila B.R. Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj as well as a close associate and dear friend of Srila B.S. Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj and Srila B.N. Acharya Maharaj; a Guardian Acharya of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math).

"All happiness and sadness comes and goes like cold and heat. Actually, happiness and sadness is not our line. Gopis ran behind Krishna having left all their shame, fear, everything—then what should we be ashamed of? What should we be afraid of? We must not be cowed down."

Abode of High Thinking
"We have got this place by the mercy of Nrisinghadev, and we take it as our debt, so even if we sleep here on the bare ground, it is still our fortune. This is what we have come for. Gurudev has given us this place, always remember this."

Parikrama Adhvias: Fixed In Service
"Nabadwip and Mayapur are not places for strolls and outings—this is not a place for eye-exercise. You must do dham-parikrama (circumambulate the holy abode); go on this parikrama being intently fixed on chanting kirtan with all the devotees."

Relief of Surrender
"We have come here to practise Krishna consciousness. We have not come to this line to pretend. I pray to you all—do not obstruct those who want to practise Krishna consciousness. You must never obstruct such people. The Lord cannot tolerate this. If you do this, the Lord will teach you a good lesson."

Our Eternal Campaign
"By the mercy of the Lord, it will not take me even two minutes to buy two hundred sacks of potato, but I want you all to come here—if I had not come to your house, if you had not given some potato to the temple, you would not have come here today. There would not have been any connection..."

'May You Always Remain In This Line'
"I am paying my full obeisance to you and expressing my gratitude to you. May the Lord bless you. I cannot give you blessings so that you may increase your material wealth, it is an offence, and it is not necessary to do that. What is necessary and all I can pray for is that you may remained attached to the lotus feet of Lord Krishna, so that you may get devotion to the lotus feet of Lord Krishna. Always remain in this line, always stay together, then you will get supreme benefit."

Spiritual Interest
'We are so deeply engrossed in Maya, in our painful material lives, that we cannot even think of leaving it. All we care about is money, food, clothes and sleeping – even dogs, goats, pigs and cats live like that. But what we should be doing is serving the Lord and chanting the Holy Name of the Lord.'

EVENING HARI-KATHA FROM THIS DAY

Lost and Wasted
"We are all lost children of the Lord. The Lord has lost us, his children, and we also have lost our Father. He is looking for us, 'My children have left Me. When will they come back to Me?' We are also searching for Him, but actually, not everybody really searches. Everybody in this world only thinks about the temporary happiness."
Download / listen to the audio (1.5 Mb, 4 min | Bengali)

Spiritual Transformation
"You do not get energy to chant the Holy Name because you waste your energy in some other place. The Holy Name judges whether you are an offender or not—the Holy Name does not come to the mouth of an offender. Even if they pronounce the Holy Name, it produces no effect in them."
Download / listen to the audio (1.2 Mb, 3 min | Bengali)

Dacoit Dharma
"Fickle-minded, we always serve somebody for the sake of our own happiness, but all this service goes in vain. Fathers say, 'You are my son, you must serve me, why will you stay at the temple?' Mothers also say, 'I have given you birth, you must look after me! Why will you worry about the Lord?' This is the eternal misery."
Download / listen to the audio (1.8 Mb, 5 min | Bengali)

Esoteric Pastimes On the Banks of the Ganges
"'When will I become crazy? When will I run along the bank of the Ganges chanting, 'O Krishna! O Gaura!'?' Nabadwip Dham is non-different from Vrindavan Dham, the amorous pastimes of Krishna and Radharani take place here eternally. Fallen and low souls like us cannot see it, but some fortunate souls can see that."
Download / listen to the audio (2.5 Mb, 6 min | Bengali)

Departure of Srila Gaura Kishor Das Babaji Maharaj
"We have visited today the samadhi-mandir of Srila Gaura Kishor Das Babaji Maharaj. When Srila Gaura Kishor Das Babaji Maharaj left his holy body, all the babajis of Nabadwip started to fight for his body as he was a great sadhu..."
Download / listen to the audio (1.6 Mb, 4 min | Bengali)

Be Serious
"Think seriously. Practise strictly, regularly, offer bhog to the Lord, take prasad. How many people think, 'I will wake up in the morning every day and do mangal-arati, serve the Lord, practise Krishna consciousness'?"
Download / listen to the audio (1.6 Mb, 4 min | Bengali)

Surrender Your Mind
"If you think, 'Oh, I cannot do this', 'I cannot do that,' then you will not be able to do anything. The cure is in the mind. You must think, 'No! Whatever danger, whatever obstacle comes I will do it.'"
Download / listen to the audio (2.4 Mb, 6 min | Bengali)

Faith, Devotion, and Love
"You must call out to the Lord with your heart and soul. You must love the Lord with your whole being—what kind of love is it when you show your money, wealth, etc.? I do not like all these big grand buildings, etc. I am a simple man and I like to live simply. Faith, devotion, and love—this is sufficient..."

Evening Kirtans
Gurudev bada krpa kara  Thakura Vaishnava gana  Nitai amara dayara avadhi  Emona durmati  Bhajahu re mana  Hare Krishna maha-mantra.
Download/listen to the audio (13.2 Mb, 32 min | 23 March 2021 | Kirtan)

Weak and Illusioned
"Everyone in this world is attracted by Maya. Maya gets her power from the Lord and, making us her servants and maidservants, keeps us far away from the service to the Lord. The problem is that we do not have faith and are always controlled by material desires."
Download / listen to the audio (7.7 Mb, 22 min| Kirtan & Bengali)

Bitter Pill to Swallow
"Many are doing this parikrama, but how many people actually, truly serve the Lord? People shed floods of tears, but who of them actually knows what is the real practice of Krishna consciousness? Who is called a disciple?"
Download / listen to the audio (2.9 Mb, 8 min | Bengali)

Vaishnavs' Care
"Leave giving honour to Vaishnavs, we cannot even learn to give honour to others in an ordinary way. Why do we have to be like this? If, having got this body, I have not been able to use it for the service of Govinda, what is the use having a beautiful body then?"
Download / listen to the audio (2.2 Mb, 7 min | Bengali)

Highest Perfection
"When you hear about Krishna consciousness, you should then preach to others, but we are not able to do this because we cannot convert our own selves, we cannot practise properly ourselves. Therefore, always be surrendered, always take shelter of the Guru and Vaishnavs."
Download / listen to the audio (9.8 Mb, 28 min | Bengali & Kirtan)

Fri, 27 February 2026 (Sri Amalaki Ekadasi; Nabadwip Dham Parikrama, Day Two)

Result of Mercy and Association
'If you get your Gurupadpadma's mercy and association and if you get service to your Gurupadpadma, the result of such fortune is that you will get even more service. The result of service is more service. The more service you do, the more benefit you get. We must not live following our minds, doing whatever we want.'

EVENING HARI-KATHA FROM THIS DAY

Keep Your Lamp Alight
"I am used to reading and studying from my childhood when I would study for eighteen-twenty hours a day, and I cannot leave this habit to this day—I still study and read books. I will tell you today about Prahlad Maharaj. I will tell you what is written in Bhagavatam—this is bhajan-siddhanta (the conclusions of devotional life)."
Download / listen to the audio (14.8 Mb, 36 min | Bengali & Kirtan)

Lord's Impartiality
"It is said in Srimad Bhagavad-gita that the Lord protects only His devotees and keeps the non-devotees far away from Himself, which means that the Lord is partial. Then how is it that the Lord is considered impartial?"
Download / listen to the audio (1.4 Mb, 4 min | Bengali)

Jay and Vijay Cursed
"One time, Brahma's four sons, four young boys, came to the gate stark naked. Although they looked like five-year old small boys, but they are actually great sages, first-born sons of Adi Brahma, therefore they were the oldest of all living creatures."
Download / listen to the audio (1.3 Mb, 3 min | Bengali)

Loving Relationship with the Lord
"The Lord in the form of a lion was also so angry and ferocious, but when His own son came to Him, He immediately became calm and loving. Lord Nrisinghadev took Prahlad Maharaj on His lap and began to lick him!"
Download / listen to the audio (1.4 Mb, 4 min | Bengali)

Demons' Plight
"Demons always keep on trying to defeat the Lord and they always think about the Lord—they always think, 'How will I kill Him? How will I kill Him?' Thinking and thinking in this way, they get liberation and later become destroyed."
Download / listen to the audio (2.3 Mb, 6 min | Bengali)

Appearance of Prahlad Maharaj
"By the time Hiranyakasipu was getting his boon, there was another event that took place in the meantime. When Hiranyakasipu left his house to meditate on Lord Brahma, his wife Kayadhu stayed at home (Hiranyakasipu's palace)..."
Download / listen to the audio (2.3 Mb, 6 min | Bengali)

Unperturbed Purity of Prahlad Maharaj
"When small children are sitting on their mother's lap, they do not worry how they will be fed, how they will rest—they are simply satisfied to be on the lap of their mother. Just as parents always look after their baby, Govinda always protected and took care of Prahlad Maharaj. He was full of God consciousness."
Download / listen to the audio (4 Mb, 10 min | Bengali)

Placid and Undaunted Devotion
"Anything related to the Lord does not enter the ears of offenders, it does not get any place in their hearts. As long as there remains some offence in the heart, Krishna will not attract us just as a magnet does not attract a piece of rusty iron."
Download / listen to the audio (3.5 Mb, 8 min | Bengali)

Prahlad Maharaj's Prayer
"One gets a blessing from the Lord according to their service. Always remember this. If you serve devotees, if you associate with devotees, then their qualities will come to you. Therefore, you must always associate with devotees, then you will develop devotional qualities. We always hanker for the footdust of devotees..."
Download / listen to the audio (11.6 Mb, 30 min | Bengali & Kirtan)

Future Vision
"You have now done the parikrama for two days. Actually, I have been thinking about something for a long time already... I have been thinking since last year that I shall extend the parikrama to five days, then there will not be any problem."

Happiness amidst Sadness
'You must understand one thing. The line of devotion is one thing and being a big business man is another thing. I want to forget my own happiness! I want to do some good for everybody. I am trying. What can I do?...'

Smooth Parikrama Day
'Every year I see during our parikrama that when we come to some place, there are other parties there and we do not get a proper place (for example, in Yogapith or Chaitanya Math), but this time everything was quiet, so we could sit and talk briefly...'

Chad Kazi Purified
'When Nimai heard Chad Kazi's mouth uttering the Lord's Name while describing those complaints, He was very pleased. He touched Chad Kazi and told everybody, "He has pronounced the Names of Hari, Krishna, Narayan, so all his sins and offences have been removed!"'

Meaning of Vaishnav-Seva
'What did Mahaprabhu tell all householder Vaishnavs? He told, "Make sure that not a single day passes without vaishnav-seva and chanting the Holy Name." But you may wonder, "Where will I find a Vaishnav when I go home?"'

Sole Sustenance: Sravanam, Kirtanam and Smaranam
'You talk and talk and lose energy as the result, that is why you do not get energy to chant the Holy Name after that. The less you can speak, the better. The more you speak, the more wrong you do because when you talk a lot, it means you are talking nonsense. Always speak little. Instead, always chant the Holy Name – may our tongues be always taking Krishna's Name.'

Sincerity vs. Excuses
'We do not get time to chant the Holy Name. We are so busy with our material lives and material problems that we do not find time to think about the Lord. We are very unfortunate. I do not believe in such things.'

—{ Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math's Treasury }—

Sat, 28 February 2026 (Sri Nabadwip Dham Parikrama, Day Three)

Our Near and Dear
'Do you realise how dear and near Gaura-hari is to us? He will never leave us (He is not somebody who is with us only for some time). To help us down the path towards auspiciousness, He comes to this world and tells us about the life in Hari-katha and Hari-kirtan.'
Download / listen to the audio (35 Mb, 72 min | 3 December 2019 | Bengali)

SRILA MADHAVENDRA PURIPAD—THE SPROUT OF LOVE DIVINE
'He was a very intimate devotee of Krishna and Radharani. Radharani Herself fully bestowed Her mercy upon Srila Madhavendra Puri. When Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was on His way to Puri Dham, He told the transcendental story of Srila Madhavendra Puri to His associates as they halted at Remuna, Orissa. Mahaprabhu said that He had heard this from Isvara Puri...'

IN HONOUR OF SRI NABADWIP DHAM PARIKRAMA

Sri Vidyanagar
'Continuing our Sri Nabadwip Dham parikrama, we have now come to Sri Vidyanagar, which is situated in Sri Ritudwip. We find the description of the glories of this ancient town in Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur’s holy scripture, Sri Nabadwip-dham-mahatmya.'

Birthplace of Srila Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya
'There is one more worshippable holy place situated within Sri Vidyanagar – the house and the birthplace of a great renowned personality, Srila Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya, whose glories you hear every year in Sri Puri Dham. Bhagavan Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupad discovered and established this small temple here in March 1936.'

SRI NABADWIP DHAM PARIKRAMA, DAY THREE:

"jaya navadvipa-dhama sarva-dhama-sara
jaya navadvipa-basi gaura-paribara
navadvipa sama dhama nahi tri-bhuvane"

'Glory to Nabadwip Dham, the quintessence of all abodes! Glory to the residents of Nabadwip and all holy family of Gaura! There is no other abode in the whole three worlds that could compare to Nabadwip Dham!'

(Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur)

EVENING HARI-KATHA FROM THIS DAY

Sri Madhavendra Puripad: One of a Kind
"Today is the festival in honour of Srila Madhavendra Puri's disappearance. We have got this opportunity today to hear about his disappearance. There is no one in this world who is as fortunate as Madhavendra Puri."
Download / listen to the audio (1.4 Mb, 4 min | Bengali)

Internal and External Struggles
"There must be no attachment; but there must be knowledge of the relationship that everything in this world belongs to Madhava—everything is His property, His wealth. Those who are possessed by envy and jealousy practise a false life, but we pray to the Lord that we can tolerate all unhappiness, all austerities, all suffering."
Download / listen to the audio (3.8 Mb, 9 min | Bengali)

Defining Disciples' Destiny
"In this external world, we have birth and death, but Vaishnavs are neither born, nor do they die. On account of their devotion and devotional practice, they can exceed the lifetime allotted to them by the Lord: through their devotion, by the blessing and mercy of the Lord they can exceed their allotted lifetime."
Download / listen to the audio (1.7 Mb, 4 min | Bengali)

Kali-Yuga's Austerities
"It is very difficult to practise yoga—in Satya-yuga they practised austerities, meditation, yoga to get the Lord. However, now in this Kali-yuga, we are given such a simple method—we can get the Lord by simply chanting His Holy Name. The only difficulty is that nobody wants to chant this Holy Name without offences. It is not like nobody can do it—nobody wants to do it."
Download / listen to the audio (2 Mb, 5 min | Bengali)

Wrong Idea
"You see the Deity here and you may think that the Deity is made of stone, wood, or clay and you can do whatever you fancy. It cannot be like that. You cannot keep Deities and feed the Deities with air or a glass of water..."

Check Who Is Calling Before Taking the Call
"You leave everything but after one-two months they start calling you—yes, Maya Devi will phone you all the time. Maya Devi cast her net and you think you will go to your home and practise Krishna consciousness there..."

Pitfalls of Deity Worship
"There are many Deities installed at our temples, you can take a photo of any of these Deities and worship the photograph. Gurudev often said, 'Do not keep a Deity and make Them a burden. Neither must you keep Deities and harass Them.'"

Srila Madhavendra Puri's Purity
"Srila Madhavendra Puripad said, 'I know Krishna has bestowed His mercy on me because He has given me the association of Nityananda. Wherever Nityananda's association is found, that place is most sacred and completely transcendental.'"

Prahlad Maharaj's Ideal
"My dear Lord, because I was born in an atheistic family I am naturally attached to material enjoyment. Therefore, kindly do not tempt me with these illusions. I am very much afraid of material conditions, and I desire to be liberated from materialistic life. It is for this reason that I have taken shelter of Your lotus feet."

Away with Animal Ambitions
"When we joined, we had so much enthusiasm to chant the Holy Name, to do the parikrama, to join festivals at the Math, but we are losing this enthusiasm. This is our bad fortune. That longing for service that we had before is diminishing day by day."

Good Habits
"People do not practise Krishna consciousness earlier thinking they will practise it when they are seventy. If we do not get into habit of doing certain things, then we will never learn to do it later. It is necessary to have a habit."

Beware Bogus Life
"There are very few people who live in family and practise Krishna consciousness. I have no objection if you want to live in a family, but practise Krishna consciousness in purity. Make sure that not a single day passes without Vaishnav-seva and chanting the Holy Name. Do not live in a family only serving Maya."

Breaking Free from Maya's Nest

Always Think of Gaura Mandal
'If you hear about the pastimes of Gauranga Mahaprabhu, your heart will become clean. Once you hear the Holy Name of Gauranga, all material desires, all bad elements will go away from your heart. Those who always think about Gauda Mandal will go to Goloka Vrindavan – they will not have to suffer from birth, death, old age and disease anymore.'

Main Guru of Our Line
'Yesterday was the disappearance day of Srila Madhavendra Puripad, the main guru whose line we have joined. We always speak about Srila Madhavendra Puri when we come to Govinda Kunda in Vrindavan. It is of paramount necessity for us to speak about his character.'

Madhavendra Puri Meets Gopal
'When Srila Madhavendra Puri drank that milk, he became overwhelmed with divine love for the Lord. Gradually, he regained his senses and wondered, "The boy must have forgotten to come for the pot, but where do I find Him?"'

Answering the Call
'You go for the parikrama, and I take care of all your needs and facilities, but you cannot follow one simple order. What is called Gurudev's sadhu-sanga? Gurudev's and sadhus' order is to do service. This is what is called sadhu-sanga.'

Remembering Chapahati
'I began telling you about a brahman's service and the result of service. There was a brahman in Dvapar-yuga who would serve the holy lotus feet of Radha-Govinda with champa flowers...'

Madhavendra Puri's Pastimes in Odisha
'When Madhavendra Puri came to Odisha to collect Malaya sandalwood for the Lord, he first went to Lord Gopinath"s temple to offer his obeisance. Seeing that the Lord was offered sweet rice, he thought, "If I could try it, I would be able to make this sweet rice for my Gopal." But then he thought, "No, I am just greedy for food!" He quickly left the temple and quietly sat outside.'

Be Unwandering and Unwavering
'Our home is there. The place that you think is your home here is not your home: we always take what is not true to be true. This place here is not your home! You have lost your address. Your address is where the Lord is. This is where we must go. What for do we struggle and work so hard now?'

Build Good Habits
'When we were young, we acquired so many bad habits, that is why we have many bad habits now: we cannot chant kirtan, we cannot talk about the Lord, we feel sleepy most of the time. Why do we get sleepy? Because you have not waken up! You do not do service all the time...'

—{ Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math's Treasury }—

The Four Regulative
Principles
The morbid consequences of neglecting the proper following of the four regulative principles—the four dwelling places of Kali Maharaj; and the affectionate advice on this matter.

You must walk in Radharani's place on your head, not on your legs.

"HUMILITY, TOLERANCE, GIVING HONOUR TO OTHERS | HUMILITY, TOLERANCE, GIVING HONOUR TO OTHERS"
